Jedna z pustych ulic w Odense w nocy.

Today the bridge to... Sealand actually (at least viewed from this end...). The Storebæltsforbindelse (the great belt link), as seen from the train. Well actually less than half of it, bu the most impressive part I'm sure! The whole bridge has around 18 km length, and the third longest main span.

Most do... piekla? moze i tak a na pewno proawdzi na Zeelandie!
Dzis most nad Wielkim Bełtem (ech jak ja nie znosze tej nazwy! ). A w sumie to tylko mniejsza czesc calego mostu, ale ta najbardziej widowiskowa czesc. Caly most ma jakies 18 km i trzeci najdłuży most wiszący na swiecie, a najdluzszy w europie. Otwarty gdzies okolo 1998.

Did you know that it dawns in Odense around 3 AM this time of year? Well now you know I guess. Around midsummer the sky more or less doesn't get dark at all. And yes now you know. I suffer from insomnia, or am just stupid anyway.

Pewnie nie wiecie ze w Odense robi sie jasno juz gdzies w okolicach 3 nad ranem. Ale teraz juz wiecie! A ja cierpie na bezsennosc (ale istnieje tez taka mozliwosc ze po prostu chcialam utrwalic to niebo...).

Today we have the Brandt's house. Brandts were one of the richest families in Odense pre war. They owned the Brandts Kleadefabrik (clothes factory), in central odense, which is now transformed into an art museum. The villa, known as Brandts Villa, upon completing of construction in 1895 was the biggest house in Odense. It was especially designed for his cousin by an architect, who also design buildings such as: det Kongelige Teater in Nytorv copenhagen , Statens Museum for Kunst , and Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen. This villa now houses a lawyer company.

Powyzej willa Barndtsow (znana jako Brandts Villa), bogatej lokalnej rodziny. Zbudowana w 1895 byla wtedy najwieksza willa w miescie, a zaprojektowana zostala przez znanego architekta (m. in projektanta teatru królewskiego, glyptoteki, muzeum narodowego sztuki itp) ktory specjalnie dla swojej kuzynki Oluffy Brandt, zaprojektowal wille. W okolicach 20 wieku prowadzili oni fabryke ubran w centrum odense, okolo 1980 przeksztalcona w nowoczesne muzeum sztuki nowoczesnej (aczkolwiek nienajwiekszych rozmiarow...). Wlasciciellka tej willi nie miala ochoty zeby tramwaj jezdzil az z dwoch stron jej malej chatki, zazyczyla sobie wiec zmiany planow, wiec je zmienili i przeniesli zajezdnie na inna ulice. Teraz juz po tramwaju ani sladu, tak samo jak po magnatach. W budynku osiedlili sie adwokaci...
Jako ciekawostka wila ta miala w chwili ukonczenia np centralne ogrzewanie, toalety splukiwane, wode w umywalkach i freski na suficie w jadalni. i nie mozna zapominac o parku wokolo.

Today's picture was taken on the island of Fanoe just outside Esbjerg (just 200 km outside odense). It is famous for the long ang beautiful sandy beaches. I gues that is why there is always more german people than danish there... Ad in the picture there are those funny ladylike shaped kites, never seen those anywhere else...

Dzisiejsze zdjecie z wyspy Fanoe, bardzo znanej z powodu kilometrowych plaz (kilometry w kazdym kierunku...). I w dodatku piaszczystych a to juz nieczesty widok w Danii. Na plazy wialo straszliwie, dlatego jest to bardzo dobre miejsce dla np latawcow i innych wiatrowych sportow... Te biedronki tez byly swego rodzaju latawcami.

The Tuesday game between amateur teams FK Utopia and guests (I have no idea who that was), as seen from my kitchen on a sunny day. "Our" team in red-black. They were loosing, I don't know how it ended though...

Gra miedzy lokalna druzyna amatorska FK Utopia i goscmi (bo nie mam pojecia co to za goscie byli...). "Nasi" w koszulkach czerwono-czarnych. Jak widac przegrywali...
